Notes : Feeding on seeds of Pittosporum resiniferum PITTOSPORACEAE A common secondary forest tree of Borneo and Philippine mountains, commonly known as “Petroleum nut” or Kerosene Tree. The fruits contains large amounts of oils similar to petrol previously used by locals for lamp fuel. The small white flowers are popular with sunbirds and white-eyes and the small black seeds exposed when the orange fruit splits are eaten by treepies, yuhinas and many other montane birds.
